Embracing my grey hair!

In the beginning, it was definitely challenging, it was a tough decision for me and it honestly took me years to finally embrace that I am going to let my hair go grey. So the first photo is from June 28, 2014, when I was considering going grey. I have to admit that I could not let myself do it at that time. The main reason was that I just had never seen anyone who looked fabulous with grey hair. Most women just don’t pull it off well. I just didn’t want to look like that, even though I know I wouldn’t because that is not who I am but it was still hard to embrace back in 2014. 

So the thought did continue to come across my mind after that moment, and then in 2018, I made the decision that I was going for the grey. It is great to be free.  But also most importantly is Dispelling the Beauty Myth of what we do as women. And I love it. Now, I absolutely love every bit of this journey.  I get complimented on my hair even more than before. Embrace the journey. Make it fun. ✨You are FABULOUS ✨ You are BRAVE ✨You are a BADASS ✨

Why did I decide to grow out my grey?
I was tired of coloring my roots every 2 weeks
I was tired of planning events around color appointments
I decided to embrace my grey and it has meant total freedom
The first six months of growing out my grey it was tough, you can feel unkempt, but if you can push through those first six months it gets easier.
